DaisyHR started because too many North West businesses were getting generic HR advice from people who had never sat in the hot seat. We changed that.
Sam spent 10 years building HR functions in North West businesses, not just managing the day-to-day, but shaping how companies hire, develop and retain their people as they scale. She worked at board level with founders and MDs, helping growing businesses get the right people structure in place before things started to unravel.
Before DaisyHR, she led HR across manufacturing, professional services and high-growth SMEs. The businesses where HR was not a support function. It was a commercial lever. She has seen what happens when companies get their people infrastructure right early, and what it costs when they do not.
She has also been in the room when it kicks off. Disciplinaries that escalate. Grievances that get personal. Redundancy programmes that need handling properly. That is the bit most HR consultants outsource or avoid. Sam runs toward it.
She started DaisyHR because she kept seeing the same gap: businesses that needed strategic HR thinking and someone who would roll their sleeves up when required. Not one or the other. Both.
What Sam Brings
The DaisyHR Standard
Every DaisyHR consultant is CIPD qualified with a minimum of ten years' senior HR experience. We do not use generalists. We use people who have sat at the board table and navigated the exact situations our clients face.
We advise employers exclusively. No employee claims, no conflict of interest. Just clear, honest guidance when you need it most.
Every consultant holds a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification. Real credentials, not just good intentions.
No juniors learning on your time. You get experienced HR professionals who have handled the difficult conversations before.
We are based in Bolton and serve employers across Lancashire, Cheshire, and the wider North West. Local knowledge, local relationships.
We do not believe in one-size-fits-all HR. Every business is different, and the support you get should reflect that.
We start by listening. What does your business actually need? Not a template. Not a generic policy pack. A proper understanding of where you are and where you are heading.
Contracts, policies, processes. The boring-but-essential infrastructure that protects you. We make sure it is solid, compliant, and built for how your business actually works.
HR does not stop after set-up. We stay close. When things happen, like a grievance, a tricky exit, or a restructure, you have someone experienced to call who already knows your business.
